Terms of Service
Last updated September 9, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and the general conditions of landscaping work performed by Angel Landscaping Services in Manville and Somerset County, New Jersey. A signed written estimate or contract for a specific job always controls if it says something different.
1. Accepting these terms
By browsing this website, submitting the estimate form, or hiring us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, HOA, or property owner, you confirm you are allowed to do so.
2. Website content and photos
The text, layout, logo, and job photos on this site belong to Angel Landscaping Services. You may view and print pages for your own use in deciding whether to hire us. You may not copy our content or photos onto another business's website, listing, or advertising.
Descriptions of services are general. Site conditions, plant health, weather, and soil vary, so results on your property may differ from photos of past work.
3. Estimates and quotes
- Estimates are free and carry no obligation.
- We normally need to see the property, or clear photos and measurements, before a price is firm. Numbers given over the phone before a visit are rough ranges.
- Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, because material and fuel costs move.
- An estimate covers only the work it lists. Conditions found after we start — buried debris, rock, drainage problems, damaged irrigation, invasive root systems, unsafe trees — may change the price. We will tell you and get your approval before doing extra work.
4. Scheduling, weather, and access
- Recurring maintenance runs on a route. Your service day may shift by a day or two for rain, frozen or saturated ground, storms, or equipment failure.
- Grass height, leaf fall, and snow decide real timing more than the calendar does. We skip a cut when cutting would damage the lawn and tell you when we do.
- You agree to give us safe access on the service day: gates unlocked, pets inside, vehicles and toys clear of the work area. If we cannot access the property, or must leave and return, a trip charge may apply.
- Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead. Same-day cancellations after the crew has arrived may be billed.
5. Your property, marked utilities, and hidden items
Before any digging — planting, stone beds, edging to depth, post work — New Jersey law requires a utility mark-out. We will place the New Jersey One Call (811) request for public utilities. You are responsible for telling us about private lines we cannot see: irrigation, low voltage lighting, invisible pet fence, septic and leach fields, propane and gas lines to grills or pools, drain lines, and buried electric to sheds or garages. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked private lines.
Please remove or point out anything fragile in the work area — solar lights, garden ornaments, hoses, low wires. Items hidden in tall grass or leaves can be struck by equipment.
6. Pricing, payment, and late accounts
- Maintenance is billed per visit or monthly, as stated on your estimate. Project work may require a deposit, with the balance due on completion.
- Invoices are due on receipt unless your estimate states other terms.
- Unpaid balances may be subject to a late fee and to suspension of service. You are responsible for reasonable collection costs on accounts we must pursue.
- Returned checks and failed payments may carry a bank fee that is passed on to you.
- Prices may be adjusted between seasons with notice before the new season starts.
[SPECIFIC FEE AMOUNTS AND DEPOSIT PERCENTAGES: CONFIRM WITH OWNER BEFORE PUBLISHING.]
7. Plants, materials, and workmanship
Living material depends on watering, weather, drainage, and pests after we leave, so we do not guarantee plant survival unless your written estimate says so. We will tell you how to water new plantings and what a healthy first season should look like.
Mulch, stone, and topsoil are natural products; color and size vary between batches. Settling of mulch and stone in the first weeks is normal. We stand behind our workmanship: if something we installed fails because of how we installed it, tell us promptly and we will correct it.
8. Cancelling recurring service
Either of us may end recurring maintenance with written notice, by text or email, before the next scheduled visit. Work already performed and materials already ordered for your property remain payable. Seasonal programs paid in advance are prorated for visits completed.
9. Insurance and liability
We carry liability insurance appropriate for the work we do; a certificate is available on request. Except where the law does not allow it, our total responsibility for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job, and we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost rent, lost business, or inconvenience. Some normal effects of landscaping work — grass clippings, dust, minor turf marks from equipment on soft ground, pruning shock — are not damage.
Nothing here limits any rights you have under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act or other laws that cannot be waived.
10. Problems and how to raise them
Call (848) 702-6937 within 7 days of a visit if something is not right, and send photos if you can. Most issues are fixed on the next trip at no charge. We would rather hear about it than have you unhappy.
11. Contractor registration
Home improvement work in New Jersey is regulated by the Division of Consumer Affairs. Our registration number, where required for the type of work performed, is [NJ HOME IMPROVEMENT CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION NUMBER PLACEHOLDER]. Routine lawn maintenance is generally not home improvement work under that law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute will be brought in the state courts serving Somerset County, New Jersey.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions? Call (848) 702-6937, Monday to Saturday, 7:00am to 7:00pm. See also our Privacy Policy.
